Amy Armstrong is a licensed addiction counselor in the state of Colorado. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. Amy went on to complete her master’s in clinical mental health counseling at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. A National Certified Counselor (NCC) trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), she also became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in July 2017. Her professional experience includes working in both mental health and substance abuse facilities as well as private practice. Her professional focus is addiction, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. She has over 15 years of business management and leadership experience gained from owning and operating two family-owned corporations.
