Florida’s next continuing education event features nationally recognized DBT-Linehan board-certified clinician Nancy S. Gordon. She’s the founder of the Tampa Bay Center for Cognitive Behavior and is a valuable resource for professionals interested in learning about effective therapy practices to treat substance-use disorders. Her talk is titled, “Dialectical Behavior Therapy Adapted to Treat People with Emotional Behavioral Disorders and Substance Abuse,” and it will explain the benefits of using a therapy that was designed to help individuals suffering from personality disorders to treat people with substance-use disorders as well.
