This presentation provides a general overview of the impact of chronic stress on individuals functioning and provides strategies to reduce distress and burnout.

Speaker: Dr. Jennifer Crofts, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

About the Speaker:

Dr. Jennifer Crofts (She/Her/Hers) received her doctorate degree from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology. Throughout her career she has had experience working in a variety of settings including community mental health clinics, college campuses, disability services and most recently in private practice in the state of Florida. Dr. Crofts specializes in the provision of bilingual (Spanish/English) mental health services to marginalized populations including people with disabilities, LGBT+ community and people of color.

Objectives:

1. Recognize the unique stressors faced in a global health crisis.

2. Learn tangible stress management strategies to reduce distress in the moment.

3. Identify strategies to prevent burnout and further distress

Time: 10AM-12PM

2 Continuing Education Credits will be administered for attending this training.
