Kelly is a community outreach director for the IAFF Center of Excellence. She spends about 250 days a year traveling the U.S. and Canada educating members on the prioritization of behavioral health issues and services available to them through the Center of Excellence. She has spoken to over 50,000 IAFF members through the International’s peer support program, Partner Education Program (PEP) events, health and safety symposiums and state and district conventions. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in broadcast journalism, specializations in public relations and media management and a minor in political science.
Kelly has been a member of the Advanced Recovery Systems team since May 2015 and helped to open the IAFF Center of Excellence in 2017. Over the last several years, she is proud to have helped many municipalities, fire departments, local unions and state associations break down barriers to quality care for their members.
