Inpatient Mental Health Rehab at Advanced Recovery Systems

In our inpatient rehab program, patients focus solely on managing their mental health conditions while staying at our professional treatment facilities. This subacute treatment option is ideal for people who want residential psychiatric assistance and thrive in a structured environment but pose no immediate risk to themselves or others. Is Inpatient Rehab Right for Me?

When considering your treatment options, choosing a program that aligns with your needs is crucial. Our subacute inpatient mental health program might be suitable for you if:

  • You’re facing a diagnosed mental health condition(s) such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other mood disorders.
  • You’d benefit from staying in a secure, stable environment away from stressors and mental health triggers.
  • You’re ready to accept treatment and make changes to improve your condition.
  • You’re struggling with substance misuse, such as drugs or alcohol, and could use dual diagnosis care.

You may need a higher level of care than our program provides if:

  • You’re at an immediate risk of harming yourself or others, including a recent suicide attempt or aggressive behaviors outside your condition.
  • You’ve been court-ordered to receive treatment or have other pending legal issues.
  • You have physical wounds, drains, tubes, dialysis or another condition requiring higher medical care or active supervision in a hospital.

How Dual Diagnosis Can Help

Many people find temporary relief from their mental health condition by self-medicating with drugs or alcohol, but this often worsens their symptoms in the long run. If you’re grappling with both a mental health disorder and addiction, addressing both simultaneously is essential for achieving lasting recovery.

While some behavioral health facilities focus solely on treating either mental health conditions or addiction, The Recovery Village facilities stand out by providing comprehensive care for both. Our licensed professionals address both aspects and help you comprehend the connection between your conditions for a more holistic approach to healing.

FAQs About Our Subacute Mental Health Program

How long is your mental health rehab program?

The duration of your stay in an inpatient mental health program is determined by your specific needs. Typically, patients conclude their residential program within one to two weeks, then continue to outpatient care.

Can I leave inpatient rehab when I want?

Completing your treatment program is vital for achieving long-term recovery, so we highly recommend staying until it’s finished. Nonetheless, you’re free to leave the facility at any point as long as you’re not a danger to yourself or others, even if it’s against medical advice.

Can I transfer here from an acute mental health facility?

Patients who’ve finished acute mental health care elsewhere and seek extra support before reentering the community are welcome in our subacute residential treatment program.

What happens after I leave your care?

Planning for your graduation begins on your very first day in treatment. Your case manager willl help you access outpatient therapy programs and mental health resources in your community, ensuring ongoing support beyond your time at the facility.

What if I have a mental health disorder and an addiction?

Our dual diagnosis treatment centers can treat both substance use and mental health disorders simultaneously. During the admission process, our medical team will assess your needs and recommend either the substance abuse track found at all facilities or the mental health track at participating locations.

If substance abuse is your primary need, you’ll undergo medical detox and then enter the inpatient rehab program, living with other people recovering from addiction. Your mental health diagnosis will be addressed within those levels of care.

If mental health is the primary concern, you’ll undergo a medical detox for substance use and then receive additional group therapy sessions about addiction while staying in our mental health wing.

How can I pay for inpatient rehab?

All Advanced Recovery Systems treatment facilities accept health insurance. Your plan may cover some or all of the costs of inpatient rehab. Private pay options may be available if you do not have insurance coverage.

Will I lose my job if I go to rehab?

Your job may be protected if you require time off from work to address behavioral health concerns. The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) allows you to take a leave of absence from work and still maintain your job security while undergoing mental health treatment with a healthcare provider. Keep in mind that FMLA eligibility is limited to certain individuals.

Will I lose my kids if I go to rehab?

Coping with mental health issues might affect your ability to fulfill parental responsibilities. While there’s no certainty regarding child custody, engaging in mental health treatment and achieving recovery can improve your prospects of maintaining custody. Many parents arrange for relatives to care for their children during their rehab journey.
