At The Recovery Village Kansas City, we believe you must get treatment in a healing, positive environment to truly work towards recovery. With that in mind, our facility includes the following amenities:
In a continuum-of-care approach to addiction treatment, there are different levels of care you might participate in. Depending on your treatment plan and unique needs, you could take part in one or more of these types of care.
Medical Detox
Often, the first step of a treatment program is a medical detox. Medical detox at The Recovery Village Kansas City includes medications for withdrawal symptoms when medically appropriate, monitoring the patient’s vital signs and other treatments to help you stay comfortable and safe.
Residential Treatment
Residential treatment means patients live onsite. With onsite living, patients can work on managing triggers and volatility that could otherwise occur in daily life in a supportive environment. Residential addiction treatment provides a solid foundation to encourage long-term recovery.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) support the transition to independent living. A PHP is usually geared toward patients who have finished residential treatment. You continue to live onsite but work toward developing more independence and accountability in your recovery. You’ll attend fewer treatment hours every day, but you will keep the full support of your treatment providers.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
An intensive outpatient program helps you prepare to leave residential treatment. You’re working toward living at home, and during an intensive outpatient program, you’ll attend several hours of therapy throughout the week. Our intensive outpatient programs address the impact of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Aftercare
When you leave treatment, in many ways, your recovery is just beginning. Aftercare planning may include referrals to sober living or resources in your local community. Aftercare programs can also include referrals to support group meetings, relapse prevention services and other resources to help you maintain your long-term sobriety and recovery after treatment ends.
Recovery is life-changing and allows you to regain control over drugs and alcohol. If you’re ready to get the help you deserve, have questions or are helping a loved one, contact a Recovery Advocate to get started as soon as possible.
